Пару лет назад была опубликована попытка сравнить политические предпочтения разных поколений американцев, когда они были примерно в одном и том же возрасте. "So the current view of millennials as liberals might be due to their age -- young people are more likely to be liberal. But if you compare young people now to young people in previous decades, those now are more conservative," she said.

Less than half -- 47% -- of millennials identified as "middle-of-the-road," compared to 50% of Baby Boomers and more than half -- 53% -- of Generation Xers."

Baby Boomers (1946-1964): 17% правых, 50% центристов, 33% левых
Generation X (1965-1979): 22% правых, 53% центристов, 25% левых
Millennials (1980-1996): 23% правых, 47% центристов, 30% левых
Нужно, конечно, смотреть первоисточник, не говоря уж о том, что "правые" и "левые" позиции со временем меняются, но всё же.
