Впрочем, тут закавыка. Похоже, в тексте, выложенном на сайте - ошибка, и должно быть не "for a period of 2 years from the date of my appointment", а что-то типа "for a period of 2 years after the termination of my employment", иначе теряется смысл.
Так что погодим и посмотрим, ошибка ли это (исправят ли ее) или что-то другое.
