Как известно, на books.google.com некоторые книги выложены целиком и доступны для скачивания. Какие именно? Об этом написано следующее:

Only books in the public domain -- books whose copyrights have expired -- have the download feature available. For users in the United States, this typically means books published before 1923. For users outside the U.S., we make determinations based on appropriate local laws.

И действительно - все, что я могу найти, относится к годам издания до 1922 включительно. Это легко проверяется поиском по расширенной форме:

Books 1 - 100 of 7490 on date:1922-1922 (то есть книг одного только 1922 года издания полностью, одним файлом, выложено семь с половиной тысяч).

Your search - date:1923-1923 - did not match any complete books (то есть книги 1923 года не выкладываются вообще).

Вопрос - как оно выглядит в других странах? Отличается ли от Америки?
