Китайский английский

Удивительно, что переводчики китайского МИДа так коряво пишут по-английски. Я почему-то был уверен, что на эту работу могут найти людей с полноценным знанием языка. А тут открыл пресс-релиз о телефонном разговоре Си и Путина - и читаю:

In the evening of March 4, 2014, Chinese President Xi Jinping held telephone talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the request.

Xi Jinping stated China's principle position. He pointed out, the situation in Ukraine, going as it is today, seems to be accidental but has the elements of the inevitable.
