Surzhyk speakers of Ukrainian nationality are the most conservative ethnic group in both economic and political preferences. At the other end of the spectrum lie the Ukrainian speakers of Ukrainian nationality. Russian speakers of Russian nationality are the second most conservative ethnic group, while those Russian speakers that have Ukrainian nationality are notably less conservative.
