What is "objectionable" and "restricted" material?
Objectionable is defined under the Films, Videos and Publications Classification Act 1993 as:
"a publication... (that) describes, depicts or expresses, or otherwise deals with matters such as sex, horror, crime, cruelty or violence in such a manner that the availability of the publication is likely to be injurious to the public good."
All objectionable material is banned.

Anybody found “knowingly” in possession of objectionable material can receive a maximum of 10 years imprisonment.
Every time a person downloads objectionable material onto their screen, there is the potential for a possession offence having been committed.
Anybody who knowingly makes or knowingly trades, distributes, or displays an objectionable publication via the Internet can receive a maximum of 14 years imprisonment.
A body corporate can be fined up to $200,000.

Date: 2019-03-28 10:28 pm (UTC)Комментировал Уильям Гибсон ("Neuromancer") - он написал в том смысле, что Таррант снял полновесный snuff movie, когда расстрелял людей - а его меморандум, это opinion column по поводу этого снаффа. И поэтому они не являются предметом обычных законов цензуры.

A secondary goal was to goad individuals on the Left into pushing for gun control. He says he chose to use guns in order to push precisely that agenda in order to “create conflict between the two ideologies within the United States.” He believes if the Left can be pushed into trying to weaken Second Amendment rights this will splinter the country, resulting in “a civil war that will eventually balkanize the US along political, cultural and, most importantly, racial lines.”
И NZ-правительство тут же запретило это оружие, как стрелок велел так и сделали !
Причём запрет поддержала и "правая" оппозиция.
